At BGS, we use a stringent and sophisticated quality management system that is continuously developed. The system defines guidelines and rules for daily tasks, the maintenance and improvement of processes and ensures the transparency of procedures. Our quality standards are certified in accordance with ISO 9001, DIN EN ISO 13485 and EN ISO 11137. In addition, the BGS sites are FDA registered and have the JAPAN PAL certificate , which is a prerequisite for the approval of medical devices in Japan.

IRRADIATION PROCESS: REPRODUCIBLE RADIATION
TECHNOLOGY
The plant technology, the use of standardized processes and precise coordination make it possible to offer the irradiation process reproducibly in accordance with specifications. To ensure complete traceability, all orders are recorded from receipt of goods through the irradiation process to delivery and documented in accordance with regulatory requirements.
RADIATION PROTECTION: Uncompromising in terms of safety
As an operator of gamma plants and electron accelerators, we are committed to protecting people and the environment. This includes meeting high structural safety standards and having extensive monitoring technology. Our facilities are equipped with multi-level safety systems and are shielded by meter-thick concrete walls. Access to the gamma facility is only possible after the source wall has been lowered into a deep-water basin that absorbs the radiation. Regular training ensures the safe use of our technology. Our specialists install and maintain the systems in accordance with the statutory radiation protection regulations.
