BGS Saal an der Donau: electron accelerators
Two electron accelerators
In Saal, a 10 MeV electron accelerator (10 MeV) with fully automated handling for loading and unloading Euro pallets enables the irradiation of large quantities with short turnaround times. In addition, a 5 MeV electron accelerator (2.0 – 4.0 MeV) with an output of 150 kW is available to irradiate endless products such as pipes, hoses, profiles and cables with a maximum drum flange diameter of 3.20 meters.
