Maintenance and HR under new management at BGS
With Lars Wehrmeyer, BGS has a new Head of Maintenance at the Wiehl site (NRW). The qualified master electrician will take over the management of the department, including personnel and technical responsibility at the company's sites in Wiehl, Bruchsal and Saal a.d. Donau. With Tim Bubenzer, BGS also announces the appointment of a new Head of Human Resources at the main site in Wiehl, also with cross-site responsibility.

Maintenance under new management
As Head of Maintenance, Lars Wehrmeyer is primarily responsible for the planning, coordination and optimization of all maintenance activities at BGS’s three locations in Germany. The core tasks of the new Head of Maintenance therefore include ensuring a high level of plant availability and efficient troubleshooting.
“Lars Wehrmeyer’s training as a master electrical engineer and his current studies in Industrial Engineering Industry 4.0 mean that he is ideally equipped to ensure the greatest possible efficiency at all of our German sites. As a member of the volunteer fire department in Wiehl, he also demonstrates team spirit and regional solidarity – values that also play a central role in our company. We are delighted that Lars Wehrmeyer has chosen BGS,” explains BGS Managing Director Dr. Andreas Ostrowicki.
New management in the HR department
BGS is also receiving further support in the form of Tim Bubenzer as the new Head of Human Resources. With his many years of experience in HR management, most recently as Head of HR and authorized signatory at A.S. Création Tapeten AG, he brings with him extensive expertise in strategic HR management.
“Tim Bubenzer is passionate about the strategic development of the HR department – as demonstrated by his voluntary work in the area of HR development as a member of the board of the Wiehl Future Foundation. We are delighted to welcome Mr. Bubenzer to our management team and to be able to drive the growth of BGS with him,” says Ostrowicki.
